The primary logo consists of the letters of HWDSB in our board font - Legacy Sans Ultra. The secondary logo’s rectangular blue box symbolizes the geographic region encompassed by HWDSB. The “W” shape symbolizes a lower case “h” and “w” for Hamilton-Wentworth, while the ovals above graphically indicate the students. These images rest upon the image of a book to symbolize learning.LOGO USAGE OVERVIEWIn all new productions and related marketing materials, use the HWDSB logo correctly as outlines in these guidelines. Organizations use logos, colours and messaging to identify themselves and to build brand recognition with an audience.
