H O U S E & H O M E W A R E S The Living Room is often the statement piece of a home, and there is no better way to complement this space than with authentic items, often with stories and meanings that date back thousands of years, yet remain contemporary when used in this modern space. One can easily create a consistent theme throughout the home, using textiles and artifacts shown in the Kitchen and Bathroom. On the next page you will find a Guatemalan shawl and a beautiful cloth from Senegal, these could work effortlessly as the textile for a cushion or rug. An AD 1150 marble statue of a Tirthankara to adorn any mantel, and a pair of classic Worcester vases from 1770 for decorative vases or even lamps. On the last page for this section we have further illustrated how the diverse range of artifacts and assets can be utilized and adopted for the Living Room space.
